Do the RSS feeds work for the forum? I'm trying to subscribe to them using the Google Reader, and they show up as (title unknown) with no items to read. -

RSS is working for me. Where are you subscribing to them from? Main page? Individual threads? -

I have a subscription for the main page (tutorial9.net), and that works fine. But when I go to http://www.tutorial9.net/forums and then click on RSS2, it opens up my google reader, and adds it as "(title unknown)" and it states "(title unknown) has no unread items"
And then if i choose to show all, it shows nothing.
If I try adding http://www.tutorial9.net/forums/ as a feed, Google says there is no available feed. It says the same thing if I try to add a discussion thread (http://tutorial9.net/forums/discussion/70/nike-meteors-ad-concept/#Item_14) or a category (http://tutorial9.net/forums/1/) -

Well, I know that those URL's for sure are not feeds. For example, this topic's feed URL would be: http://tutorial9.net/forums/discussion/74/rss-feeds/?Feed=RSS2
And the main page is: http://www.tutorial9.net/forums/?Feed=RSS2
I'm still trying to figure out why you're not getting these feeds to show up correctly. I'll take a look into Google Reader and see if I can see the problem there. -

I think it may not work with Google Reader, because it requires a password to see the feeds. I've never had Google prompt me for a password for a feed, so that's probably why it wont show up there.
I've tried adding the feed to Thunderbird, and the password prompt says, "Enter username and password for "Private" at http://www.tutorial9.net."
When I enter my username and password for the forum, it terminates with the following message: "http://www.tutorial9.net/forums/?Feed=RSS2 is not a valid RSS feed."
I've never used an RSS feed for a private forum before. Can it even be done? -

The forums are still in beta and not open to the public. If the RSS feeds were not password protected everyone would be able to access the forum that way... -

Who would know the address of the RSS besides the beta members anyways? -

That's because we're now opening doors to the public ;)
But don't tell anyone! I'll announce it soon on the front page.
