    I'll throw W3Schools into the mix, since it's one of the best sites out there to learn different web based languages imo (HTML, CSS, XML, PHP... everything really).

    yeah W3C is well worth looking into, and I'll just add their Validation services to the list just to make sure people don't miss them. I urge all our members to use web standards, there's no reason not to.

    For the designing part of web development...I always check out

    For new ideas and techniques. I usually don't follow full tutorials but find some new ideas to incorporate in my own designs.

    P2L is alright, but most of the tutorials and effects there tend to be more basic, and more trendy. Its an alright place for inspiration, but I wouldn't go as far to say as it is a good resource for web design.

    Their coding tutorials, however, are a different story. Very good quality stuff there.

    Well, dah-hang, this is a veritable treasure trove of resources! Thanks guys! I wish I had something to add to the list. Maybe I'll find something later on.

    It may be good, later on, to have a list of some of the best resources here stickied as these forums grow. I'm sure any newbies to design would love to find all this right in one place. Just my thoughts on it. :-)

    I'm going to put some tutorials up on my site too, I wouldn't go so far as to say its going to be a 'great' resource but there's going to be some stuff there that may some may see as helpful. ;) Link's in my profile.
