I have always used your guys' sites for help in my Photoshop and Graphic Design endeavors, since Greycobra and the beginning of Tutorial9. Always, whenever I think of graphic design help, I think of your gentlemen's webpage. Though I have never really participated in forum conversations, most of what I have learned has come from your tutorials.

That being said, it's been a while since I've last come to your page. Before, it was the transition from Greycobra.com to Tutorial9. I was actually very impressed with the new page, seemed like it was heading in the right direction with all the different tutorials and so many different cool things to check out. Now, about 5 months after getting out of the military, I am starting to get back into the groove of things (in terms of graphic design) and I am back for some more tutorials.

Though I haven't seen the quality of your tutorials (which really isn't in question here), I have to say I am sorely disappointed with the direction you are going. The home page is a jumbled up mess, with nothing but advertisements, and at first glance I felt truly lost. The reason why I bring this up is because this is your guys' expertise, and you should be leading by example. Your template is really a beautiful one, I love the color theme and the designs are very tasteful, but as for the advertisements and navigation I feel like you guys either rushed it, or sold out. I know that this web page won't pay for itself, but do you really need to create a collage of dynamic advertisements on the home page? I support the places I frequent, and I will gladly click a few links to support you guys, but all I ask is that you take into consideration that when I come to your page I expect to not be bombarded with advertisements.

Just a little constructive criticism, thanks for listening, and regardless I will continue to use and support your site because you guys really do know your shit.

Its great, as always, to hear response from the public Lateralus. I'm sure that David will respond to this but I thought that I'd just give you a few thoughts. Your right in stating that a web site won't pay for itself and that nobody wants to get flooded with advertisements. The reason for having them is so that David can pay authors to write tutorials for the site, since it is complex and time consuming to write everything himself.

It also enables him to save up some site cash to give back to the community. There is an upcoming contest that is going to be giving away some very nifty prizes. Thanks again for the feedback, I'm sure David will love to read this because he loves hearing from those hes helping.
