Thanks for sharing stacye! Would you mind if I featured your contribution, along with some additional shortcuts the folks around here might find useful, on the front page sometime? -
InfinityXero Aug 12th 2008 editedI've got some more:
Alt + Backspace - Allows you to quickly fill the selection or entire document with the current Foreground color.
CTRL + Backspace - Allows you to quickly fill the selection or entire document with the current Background color.
F Key - Cycles through Standard Screen Mode, Maximized Screen Mode, Full Screen Mode with Menu Bar, and Full Screen Mode.
CTRL + W - Closes the current Document.
CTRL + F - Repeats last filter used. -

You know, I've been wondering what key it was that I accidentally pressed when the FILE EDIT IMAGE... menu goes away. Now I know. That's another one that is going to save my sanity, because I used to close out of the program just to get the menu back. Thank you! -

Hey I know! Let's keep building this list! Then, when the time is right, we can make something along the lines of, "Tutorian's Unite: Photoshop Shortcuts That Will Change Your Life".

I found another one today that was pretty useful. I'm not sure what it's called, but it flattens your work into another layer, but leaves all the layers the same. It's like the Apply Image effect used in Tyler's Burnt Parchment tutorial.

Holding down shift and [ or ] changes the softness of the brush (it might be control, try it and let me know - I'm going to bed) -

X switches between your foreground and background colors.
D resets them to black and white.
I didn't know the X one until today, and I've used it about 4 or 5 times. Really helps when you're working with a layer mask.
Clear work area
Zoom In / Zoom Out
Move around document
Increase Brush Size
Decrease Brush Size
Ok, I'm looking to have my Photoshop life made easier =D Post your favorite shortcut.
