Iceberg got a new camera! Hurray!
I like how you're seemingly getting used to playing with depth of field in your photographs, and I hope you'll continue to experiment and better your photography abilities now that you got an awesome camera.
I'd suggest looking over some of Fredrik's tutorials, such as his Framing and Composition in Photography Tutorial to start learning some technique that will surely help you out. I'm no pro at Photography myself (learning just as many of you are), but I do think that some of your photos shown here look a little warm. You might want to play with the white balance a bit and see if you can cool things down a bit.
Other words, very happy to hear you got the XSi =) I have the model just below yours, and can't say enough good things about it! -

Congratulations to your new camera!
You will have a lot of fun with it and you will learn so much. The photographs so far looks good for being your first with a DSLR camera, as Dave said, you seem to play with depth of field quite nicely.
I'm looking forward to see how you progress and it's going to be fun to follow your first days with the new camera. -
Iceberg Jun 9th 2008Thank you all very much for your feedback!

Anyways, here are a few of my first photos with my new setup. I'll update this discussion frequently with new shots so I don't hog the gallery section.
