it's damn nice, but yes, it feels like something is missing. (maybe to the right after the red line?)
also MAYBE a little tiny bit too much of negative space around the main focus.
and htf did you make it?! -

I like the whole concept, looks very nice. For some bizzare reason see your two plant effects at the two sides, its just screaming to be colourised to bring the main focus of the image to the user. As a designer when i look at your work, i First noticed the red blood which is no suprise and then Secondly noticed the two leafs at the side of your main picture .... then i got attracted to the full image picture.
So maybe by getting rid of the red marks and putting a bit of colour at the two sides of your image and maybe extend on the idea on both sides, i think you could potentially have an excellent peace of work on your hands :)
Thats just my opinion though, ill be looking forward to seeing what you end up doing, be sure to post your re-edited piece if you end up doing anything for it :) -

yea my original idea was to have color streaming left and right from the center in a kind of elegant like manner but idk what form to put the color in...i'll give it some more thought
edit: i made it with skillz, but mostly phtoshop and illustrator
