The line effect you're using is pretty slick looking ;)
I think it's a bit saturated maybe, or perhaps overexposed a bit. Could just be the monitor I'm on right now though. Nice work mate =) -

*agrees* I think the white is just too white and glowy. Other than that it's a good idea. At least for a beginner like me :D -
