    File>New

The action of bringing a new piece of canvas into the digital world. Coming in all hues and pixels, the new document or "digital love canvas", is the first stage of YOUR piece of art. Nurture it and give it lots of love and care, and one day it may be your little masterpiece.

A widget is a component of a graphical user interface with which a user interacts.

but it also has more than one meaning and from many different areas

    some of which are :

Widget (beer), the nitrogen widget in cans and bottles of beer
Widget (comics), a character in Marvel Comics
Widget (TV series), a 1990s animated television series
Widget (law), an imaginary unit or thing used to demonstrate a point or concept; commonly used in law school materials and lectures

    Vector (vek-tor)

A type of image using a grid point system and mathematics to create shape like images on a computer. Vector graphics are common hold in logo design and other variable scaling projects due to their structure of not ever being constrained to a certain size. Popular vector image programs include Adobe Illustrator, Flash, and Fireworks.

Aliasing has been done, but I don't think anti-aliasing was covered.

    Anti-aliasing
It visually corrects aliasing by introducing additional colored pixels to give the impression of a continuous line or curve. Basically it loses the jaggies and gives you a smooth line.

    also:

I like a few of the ones I've seen so far, but please, don't be too shy to post more than one if you can think of any. Gonna let this run for a while probably just so you all have a chance at coming up with something :P
